Melody Music is a UK company fully insured and ATOL bonded with registered offices in New Zealand, Australia, and the U.S.A. and has worldwide experience in arranging concerts, flights, coaches and accommodation.

M.D. of the Company Mark Burrows is a Music graduate of Cardiff University, and New England Conservatory, Boston. Melody Music was originally set up by him as a TV and Promotion Company, and as Producer/Director, Mark arranged programmes and concerts with such artists as Bryn Terfel, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Petula Clark, and over 100 Choirs. Quite apart from the main functions of arranging and organising all types of choir tours and concert promotion, Melody Music specialises also in taking responsibility for organising all ticket sales, media coverage, including TV where appropriate, as well as local publicity and brochures promoting the choirs visit at all the concert venues during the tour.

This also includes organising liaison with local choirs and arranging for local artists to take part in your choir concerts, if required. Similarly, when Melody Music organises the travel and accommodation requirements of a choir other sightseeing tours can also be easily included in the travel itinerary, as required. Melody Music has organised concert tours for some of the biggest and best choirs in the world. In 2001, the first Lions Choir supporting the British and Irish Rugby Lions tour to Australia was arranged. In a similar vein, in 2002 and in conjunction with the “Welsh Association of Male Voice Choirs”, a special Choir supporting the Wales Rugby Union tour of South Africa was officially organised; with some 120 choristers from different choirs participating. Melody Music caters for all sizes of choir and, in 2003, was also pleased to have organised the November tour to California for the superb Cantorion Colin Jones Choir and for the same Choir in 2004 to Florida. In 2004, Melody Music broke new ground by taking the celebrated Morriston Orpheus Male Choir on a tour to Abu Dhabi, and Oman. In 2005 the Lions Choir once again toured – this time to New Zealand.

Melody Music provides a professional service tailor-made to suit a choir’s specific needs and budget in a way that will bring concert tours within the reach of any choir no matter how large or small; or whether the choir is of male, female or mixed voice. By this method representatives of Melody Music will fully collaborate and co-operate with the choir official or committee responsible for organising the choir’s tour to ensure that all specific needs and requirements are incorporated into the planning and that concerts in any of the proposed tour venues are arranged and promoted to the highest level.
