Historically many choirs were faced with the dilemma of finding a ‘travel’ company to provide tour arrangements and then being left to their own devices to try and arrange suitable concert venues; sometimes having to rely on unknown contacts or charity-minded organisations to hopefully provide the concerts along the route of the tour. Very often this will lead to poor exposure and low attendances at concerts.
From 2006, each Choir touring with us will receive in the last draft of their itinerary, a full description of each concert, the facilities available, together with projected audiences and revenue.
When you have agreed the final tour and venues with Melody Music all your concert requirements will be taken care of. Venues will be covered by our public liability insurance, and we will maximise advertising to ensure that the concerts are well attended.
After all agreed costs have been deducted, the choir will share in any profits generated at the concerts. We provide the most cost effective travel and accommodation arrangements coupled with concert promotion of the highest standard to ensure the success of your tour. Should a choir have their own contacts for concerts, we are happy to work around this and only promote the concerts you wish us to be involved with.
We will liaise on your behalf with any other host choirs [where appropriate] with regard to joint items and the like.
