Melody Music is delighted that Stuart Burrows [Father of M.D. of Melody Music, Mark] was awarded an O.B.E. [Order of the British Empire] by the Queen H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth II today for serevices to music.

He was "delighted" at the honour and thanked all those who have supported him in recent years, as well as the many fans who followed him during his long career.

Recently, he was also awarded "Icon" status by the people of Wales and in particular RCT as he topped the poll of the most iconic figure to have hailed from those parts over the last 100 years.
