The first Melody Music Golden Nightingale Male Choir Competition took place at the B.I.C. in Bournemouth on Saturday Feb 16th.
After a great competition by the participating Choirs, the eventual winners were the Rhos Male Choir with their miusical Director John A Daniel.
The judges were Dr. Alwyn Humphreys, Maestro Jan Wiacek [Poland] and Mark Burstow [Bournemouth].
M.C. for the evening was J. Layton Watkins.
1st Place: Rhos MVC - £3,500
2nd Place: Four Lanes MVC - £1,000
3rd Place: Chepstow MVC - £500
The Second Golden Nightingale Male Choir Competition will take place in Bournemouth on February 14th
