Melody Music Company is delighted to have arranged the UK Tour for the Melbourne Welsh Male Choir.

They arrived in Manchester on October 7th after a two day stop in Dubai.

 

On tour, they are conducted by Alwyn Humphreys.

The Choir had 3 sell out concerts - the first in Llangefni with Hogia'r Ddwylan, the Second in Oswestry, and a packed Maesteg Town Hall saw them perform alongside the Maesteg Gleemen.

Their soloist on tour is Adele Oneil [Soprano] from South Wales who this year, won the Gold Medal at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod.

A beautiful voice and a name to look out for over the next few years.

 

The 90 strong party joined forces with the Massed Choirs at the Royal Albert Hall last night for a spectacular end to their tour.

"We were delighted with the tour and thank all the audiences for such a warm welcome" reported the choir before departing for Heathrow airport for the homeward journey,

 

This is the second Choir from Melbourne who have travelled with Melody Music and the third from Australia. Once again this Choir is of an excellent standard and a very happy travelling party.
