We are delighted that the Fron Choir will tour with Melody Music to Poland in August of this year.
The 98 strong touring party will perform concerts in Warsaw and Krakow.
The group depart on their 9 day tour on August 18th.
August 19th
Auschwitz and during the visit, the Choir perform in remembrance of the souls lost.
August 20th
The choir will give a performance in the underground Cathedral of the mine – made entirely out
of Salt! – with excellent acoustics. [Krakow]
August 21st
Concert which will take place in Mariacki Church located in Main Square –
an excellent venue which holds many people and is one of the most famous landmarks in Poland.
The concert will take is at 7pm after the main Mass
Final Concert August 23rd - Concert at Matki Boskiej Zwycieskiej, [Warsaw] Grochowska street at 7pm.
The Fron Male Voice Choir has been nominated
for the NS&I's Album of the Year in the 2009 Classical Brit Awards.
