On May 14th, the Canoldir Male Choir and the Cardiff Arms Park Male Choir set off for their tour to Krakow in Poland.
The 103 strong group will perform in 2 main concerts as well as a performance at Auschwitz. A perfect time of the year to travel to this beautiful country, and a warm welcome awaits.......
They performed in the famous Salt Mine where they performed for the visitors, and at 7pm went for a "group meal" at Sales Restaurant for a 3 course meal with entertainment from a local Folk Band.
Yesterday 70 of the Group visit Zakopane - the beautiful mountain region.
On their return, they had a short rehearsal in preparation for their first concert which was at St. Mary of Lourdes Church.
A capacity audience were treated to 4 items prior to the Mass, 2 songs during, and after the Mass had finished, a 40 min concert which delighted the audience which filled the church.
Tonight, the Choir have their final concert in the fantastic St. Peter and Paul Church in the City Centre.
The Choir return to the UK on Monday into Birmingham.
