The Melody Music Lions Choir prepare to depart for South Africa on June 16th.

The 170 stong part will hold concerts in Capetown, Beaufortwest, Johannesburg and perform at Rorkes Drift.

The main concerts in Cape Town and Johannesburg are pretty much sold out - the Cape Town Town Hall seeing the 1,100 tickets move fast for the June 24th concert, and the Johannesburg concert at the Linder Auditorium selling out within the first three weeks of sale.

Mark Burrows, M.D. of Melody Music who will be with the tour for some of the time explained " A Lions Choir tour is always special, and the warmth and support the choir gets from locals and rugby fans is fantastic - this is our third Lions Tour and promises to be the best yet".
