Since Mark Burrows was asked to produce the Festival of Remembrance in 2009, and has once again been asked to do the same for the 30th Anniversary Gala at St. Davids Hall on November 6th 2010, we are delighted to say that the sister Company to Melody Music - Normandy Tours Limited, is now live.
This Company is dedicated to tours to WW1 and WW11 battlefields and places of historical interest during the Wars.
In October this year Melody Music arranged a tour to Honfleur with a Comrades Choir, who performed at the memorial sites and were accompanied by our experienced tour guides.
Normandy Tours Limited will now cater for Choirs, University and School Groups wishing to tour - in particular to Normandy and Poland.
Choirs and individual choristers wishing to take part in the 2010 Festival of Remembrance Gala Concert on November 6th should contact Melody Music directly.
As this is the 30th anniversary of the Festival, we will be producing a C.D. in order to raise funds for the British Legion - and this C.D. will be available on the night!
Choirs and choristers interested in joining the massed choir should register their interest as we will be publishing and sending out the music to be performed in late January.
