Puerto Madryn played host to the last concert of the 3 week tour for the Melody Music Comrades Choir.
Throughout the tour, the Choir have been featured on TV, Radio and on the front pages of most of the Newspapers - today over 3 pages in the main publications.
Such was the interest in the Choir, that their last performance, was once again a sell out, with people standing in line for over 3 blocks to try to get into the performance.
Conductor John Asquith and accompanist David Last once again were on top form and even after such a long tour, the Choir rose to the occasion performing with a strong and focused sound.
The concert was enhanced by the inclusion of a Tango performance by several local dancers and the whole evening provided a fitting end to an excellent tour.
Argentina and Patagonia has proved to be a delightful place with warm friendly people. M.D. of Melody Music, Mark Burrows said "we were so happy with the welcome of the people and the reaction to the Choir. I am certain that we will bring more Choirs over to experience this very special welcome - a very big thank you to the Choir, John Asquith, David Last - and especially the people of Argentina and Patagonia".
The Choir leave for Buenos Aires on the 5th of May with very fond memories and thereafter return to the UK via Madrid.
